Gold is a dense, soft, shiny, malleable, and ductile metal. It is a chemical element with the symbol Au (aurum in Latin, meaning glow of sunrise) and atomic number 79.
gold is one of the most valuable metal.
a research finding!!!
research suggests it could be possible to harvest gold from plants.the technique uses plants to extract gold particles from soil.
some natural plants called hyperaccumulators, have the natural ability to absorb metal such as nickel, cadmium, zinc through their roots and concentrate them in leaves and shoots.
But there is no known gold hyperaccumulators because gold doesn't easily dissolve in water.
"under certain condition gold solubility can be forced"said Chris Anderson,an environmental Geo chemist at Massey university in New Zealand.
